Finish Coat (3 Alternatives):

A. SOMAY Product No. 8630-01 – (White) SOMAY "STERI-SHIELD"® Fungistatic Paint, a
very unique 100% Acrylic Latex, Heavy-Duty, Industrial Strength coating that is the most
resistant of any paint to the growth of mold and mildew on its surface.  Apply to a properly
prepared, smooth, non-porous surface at a spreading rate of 368 sq.ft./gal. to develop a 2
mil dry film thickness, at an approx. cost of 8¢/sq.ft. For much longer durability, use two (2)
finish coats, which will cost approx. 16¢/sq. ft. for 4 mils DFT.

B. SOMAY Product No. No. 682-01 – (White) "Premium" "Stay-White" 100% Acrylic Latex
Semi-Gloss Roof Paint.  When applied to a properly prepared, smooth, non-porous
surface at a theoretical spreading rate of 227 sq.ft./gal., it will develop a 2 mil dry film
thickness at an approx. cost of 8¢/sq.ft. For much longer durability, use two (2) finish
coats, totaling 4 mils, which will cost approx. 16¢/sq. ft.

C. SOMAY Product No. No. 345-01 – (White) "Premium" "Stay-White" Vinyl-Acrylic Latex
Flat Roof Paint.  When applied to a properly prepared, smooth, non-porous surface at a
theoretical rate of 230 sq.ft./gal. it will develop a 2 mil dry film thickness at an approx. cost of
4¢/sq.ft. For much longer durability, use two (2) finish coats, totaling 4 mils, which will cost
approx. 8¢/sq. ft.

"Terracotta" is available at $1.00 more per gallon.  Factory Custom Manufactured Colors
are also available.  Minimum order is 50 gallons of 1 color in 1 product, with non-refundable
payment-in-full with the order.  Custom Color prices are based on the cost to make each
color.

 NOTE:  Coverage rates are theoretical for "smooth, non-porous surfaces" (such as glass), and
 assume 100% transfer efficiency.  Rough and/or porous surfaces will reduce spreading rates and
 require the use of considerably more material.  Flat cement roof tiles and clay barrel tiles are
 exceptionally porous, so one should expect to get approximately 150 sq.ft./gal. on the first coat of
 paint applied.  Applicators must make allowances for wastage (normally at least 10% for roller/
 brush application; 20% for airless spray application; 30% for air-atomized spray application).
